Meet Lisa
Born and raised in Canton, Lisa loved the township so much that when it came time to choose a forever home, she stayed—this time in a walkable neighborhood known for its arts factory, independent theater, and vibrant local businesses. Lisa earned her BBA from the University of Michigan–Dearborn and has spent the past 25 years as Controller at MSA Delivery Service. A steady and trusted presence in the company, she’s known for her precision, perspective, and deep institutional knowledge. Beyond her professional role, she’s passionate about financial literacy and loves helping the “littles” in her life—nieces, nephews, and friends’ kids—get their financial footing early.
Lisa has been married to her wife for 15 years; the two first met in grade school and reconnected later in life. At home, they are lovingly bossed around by their very spoiled Rhodesian Ridgeback. In her free time, Lisa enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling the world. She is an active member of Chicks 4 Charity, a women’s group that focuses on volunteer service projects and Giving Hope, a women’s giving circle focused on community support.
Lisa’s connection to the organization goes back to the days when it was owned by Elizabeth Allen. After the transition to new leadership under Adam Finch, she and her family continued their relationship with the firm on Elizabeth’s recommendation. Lisa is honored to serve on the Client Advisory Council, where she brings both a professional eye and a personal passion for helping others achieve financial clarity and confidence. (She’s even been known to mutter “compound interest” in her sleep.)
